REGISTERED NURSE (Maternity Leave Replacement – 18 Months)
 

We are inviting applications for the Registered Nurse(RN) position with 1.0 FTE at Associated Medical Clinic, St.Paul.

 
The Registered Nurse (RN) position would provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being.
 
 
Key Responsibilities of RN:
  • Assessment of patient conditions, needs and goals in collaboration with the patient, physician and interdisciplinary team and provide appropriate follow-up.
  • Assist patients to navigate through the health system.
  • Communicate with patients to determine the next appropriate health services required based on presenting concerns and test results.
  • Assist in completion of complex care plans with the primary care physician.
  • Works in conjunction with the physicians and/or independently as appropriate to assess the needs of patients; supports delivery of high quality, evidence-based health care to the practice population.
  • Conducts patients to consulting rooms, collects and enters patient vitals in EMR, and provides health services based on developed nursing knowledge and skills.
  • Works collaboratively to full scope of practice as a member of a healthcare team within a family practice environment to enhance the delivery of primary care services to patients.
  • Ensures clinic is stocked with medication and general medical supplies; maintains sterilization protocols, equipment standards, and supply levels of clinic exam rooms.
 
Qualifications for RN Position:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Current registration with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
  • Current health care provider CPR certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing.

                                                                         HIRING BIOKINETICIST

We are inviting applications for the Biokineticist position with 1.0 FTE at Lakeland Primary Care Network, St.Paul, AB.

 

Qualifications:
  • A Degree with specialisation in Biokinetics.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience required.
  • Certification or membership with the appropriate national professional association or provincial counterpart may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Assess patients and review reports from physicians, physiotherapists, psychiatrists, counsellors, teachers and other professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning level.
  • Prepare individualized and group treatment plans either independently or through a multidisciplinary team approach based on health concerns and on recommendations from physicians or other health professionals.
  • Expertise in Concussion Management System and Injury Management System.
  • Rehabilitate sport injuries and special population groups (heart patients, diabetic patients, FM patients etc
  • Provide education to all patients and their guardians/parents and coaches to ensure proper rehabilitation.
  • Experienced in program prescription for sport performance, fitness testing and assessment, group, individual and phase programs and fitness/conditioning sessions.
  • Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation.
  • Implement treatment plans by carrying out specialized therapy sessions employing approaches and techniques such as art, drama and music therapy or dance, recreational, sports or other movement therapy.
  • Observe, record observations and analyze patients during treatment sessions, write progress reports on patient outcomes and consult with other health professionals to evaluate treatment plans.
